Aluminum Composite

Aluminum composite is a flat metal material with typically a PVC, plastic resin or styrene core sandwiched between two sheets of aluminum. Generally used for outdoor commercial, industrial, informational, & directional signage. Commonly attached directly to walls, attached to aluminum tube frame for support or in a post & panel sign. Illuminated by spotlights in the front. Will not rust.

Regulatory, Directional, Informational, and lighted signs.

4' x 8' sheets (1220mm x 2440mm)

Thickness;

2mm- recommended thickness for small & medium signs mounted on flat surfaces.

4mm- recommended thickness for medium & large signs mounted on flat surfaces, and requiring greater rigidity.

Use & Longevity:

Aluminum composite is UV resistant. Commonly used for temporary or permanant indoor/outdoor signage.

Life Expectancy:

Indoors- 5+ years

Outdoors- 5+ years

 

Installation Considerations:

Indoor-

Velcro & double sided tape work well. Screw or bolt (do not over tighten)

Outdoor-

Use in a small metal frame or box sign. Do not screw, bolt or rivet large pieces to walls, it will buckle with climate changes.Use silicone adhesive or double sided tape for small signs.

Installation Accessories:

Box or Frame- holds sign securely in place

Acrylic & Metal Zip Track- Track that holds letters inplace for changeable message signs.
