Styrene is made of polystyrene is lightweight and has a matte finish. Generally used for directional & informational signage indoors and outdoors.
Common uses for styrene:
Directional & informational signage, throwaway "for sale" type signs, thin display inserts, point of purchase displays, yard signs, real estate riders, and screen printing applications.

4' x 8' sheet (1220mm x 2440mm)
Thickness:
.020 to .060 (.5mm to 1.5mm) used for trade show headers, menu inserts and display inserts.
.040 to .060 (1mm to 1.5mm) is used extensively for pre-made signs such as: for sale, for lease, open, closed, out to lunch, etc.
.080 to .125 (2mm to 3mm) is the standard thickness.
.156 to .250 (4mm to 6mm) is used for signs requiring depth or greater rigidity.
Use & Longevity:
Product has some UV resistance, however white will become discolored (yellow) overtime. You can lengthen the life of your sign by having a digital print that is laminated with a uv resistant laminate rather than regular cut vinyl. This will lengthen the life of your sign. Used for permanant or temporary indoor/outdoor signage.

Outdoor- 2-3+ years
Installation Considerations:
Indoor-
Works well framed. Suction Cups & Grommets is popular. Velcro & double sided tape stick well. Bolt or screw to surfaces.
Outdoor-
Bolt or screw. Double sided tape for small signs. Frames for large signs.
